Issa Monnie

Issa Monnie is a seasoned journalist and media relations expert with extensive experience in public relations and broadcasting. As the founder of the Society of Professional Journalists, Issa has played an influential role in the field. Currently serving as the Head of the Onua Foundation and formerly holding the position of Group News Editor at Onua TV & Radio since March 2023, Issa has a strong background in journalism. Prior experience includes roles at Consolidated Bank Ghana as a PR and Media Relations Advisor, News Anchor at Metro TV, and as a Senior PR and Media Relations Specialist. With a solid educational foundation from institutions such as the Institute of International Relations and Erasmus University Rotterdam, Issa has acquired relevant certifications and skills in public relations, communications, and digital marketing.
