Ingrid Tierens

Managing Director, Goldman Sachs at Society of Quantitative Analysts (SQA)

Ingrid Tierens has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Ingrid is currently a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council's Freedom and Prosperity Center, where they conduct research on the relationship between prosperity and freedoms. In addition, they serve as a member of the Advisory Council for the CFA Institute's Research and Policy Center, contributing to the organization's mission of promoting ethical and professional standards in the investment profession.

Previously, Ingrid worked at Goldman Sachs as a Managing Director, leading the Data Strategy team in the Global Investment Research division. Ingrid also held a leadership position in the Equities Execution Services Strats Group, providing clients with execution strategies.

Furthermore, Ingrid has served on the boards of the KU Leuven Alumni - US Chapter and the Society of Quantitative Analysts (SQA). The former aims to connect KU Leuven alumni in the United States, while the latter focuses on education and communication within the quantitative investment community.

Earlier in their career, Ingrid held positions at Merrill Lynch as an Executive Director and at JPMorgan as a Vice President in the Quantitative Financial Research and Development Division.
