Tamera Whavers has extensive experience in office management, currently serving as the Office Manager at unabridged Architecture and the Society of the Divine Word since 2012 and 2018, respectively. In addition to these roles, Tamera has been a Zumba Fitness Instructor for Zumba Fitness LLC since 2011, contributing to a globally recognized dance-fitness program. Previous experience includes positions as a Project Administrative Assistant at Industrical Construction, Inc. and Roy Anderson Corp from 2006 to 2012, managing day-to-day office activities. Tamera holds an Associate of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching, with education from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, The University of Southern Mississippi, and Virginia College of Biloxi.

The Society of the Divine Word (SVD) is the world’s largest Roman Catholic order of missionary priests and brothers. Focused on social justice, interculturalism, community development, the environment and humanitarian aid, Divine Word Missionaries work in more than 80 countries on six continents. We follow God's call to go to missions far and wide and serve those most in need. The SVD's Chicago Province extends from Montreal to Montserrat and from Nebraska to Massachusetts. Collectively, Chicago Province missionaries come from 27 countries and speak more than 20 languages, which allows us to have conversations with people where they are.
