Ben Sopchak

Ben Sopchak has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Ben has recently worked at Sockeye Brewing as the VP of Sales & Marketing since May 2023, and prior to that, they were the Director of Sales at the same company from July 2022 to May 2023. Before joining Sockeye Brewing, Ben worked at Lagunitas Brewing Company, where they held multiple roles including Distributor Business Manager from January 2020 to July 2022, Market Manager from February 2019 to January 2020, Specialty Sales Manager from March 2018 to February 2019, Specialty Salesman from April 2016 to March 2018, and Sales Representative from August 2014 to April 2016. Following that, they attended UNSW from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Environmental Management. Later, from 2011 to 2013, Ben studied at the University of Denver and completed their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Development. In addition to their degrees, they also hold certifications in Permaculture Design from Whole Systems and Public Participation and Community Engagement from IAP2, although the exact dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
