Matthew Wilson

Matthew Wilson is an experienced Geotechnical Engineer with a solid background in health and safety advisory roles. Currently serving as a GI Health and Safety Adviser and Senior Geotechnical Engineer at SOCOTEC UK since October 2021, Matthew previously held positions as a Geotechnical Engineer and Graduate Geotechnical Engineer within the same company from November 2017 to October 2021. Earlier experience includes serving as a Student Teaching Assistant at Edge Hill University, supporting undergraduate structural geology classes, and working as a bartender at Greene King. Matthew holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Environmental Geology from Cardiff University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology/Earth Science from Edge Hill University.
