Rafal Walus

Rafal Walus is an experienced engineer currently working at SOCOTEC USA since April 2022. Previously, Rafal held the position of Structural Designer EIT at Baldridge & Associates Structural Engineering from 2019 to February 2022, focusing on the retrofit of existing buildings and structural analysis using software such as RAM SS, RISA 3D, and ETABS. In early 2018, Rafal completed an internship at STV Group, Incorporated, where responsibilities included analyzing bridge designs and conducting inspections. Other roles include Quality Control and Researcher at Ozinga Ready Mix Concrete in 2017, Subcontractor Apprentice at Globe Exteriors Inc. from 2015 to 2016, and Maintenance Specialist at IMW in 2014. Rafal holds both a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, alongside a high school education from John F. Kennedy High School and Henryk Sienkiewicz Polish School.
