Richard Maher

Richard Maher is a highly experienced professional in the construction and project management sectors, currently serving as Senior Managing Director at SOCOTEC USA since August 2022. Prior to this role, Richard held the position of Director at J.S. Held LLC from October 2013 to August 2022, where construction advisory services were expanded through the acquisition of Perry Associates in September 2020. Richard's career also includes significant roles at CB&I as a Project Controls Manager and PMA Consultants as a Senior Associate, as well as earlier experience as a Claims, Office, and Field Engineer with the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority on the Central Artery/Tunnel Project. Richard Maher holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering/Construction Management from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Richard is also a licensed Professional Engineer (PE), a Project Management Professional (PMP), a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP), a Construction Supervisor License holder (CSL), and a Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official (MCPPO).
