Rajesh Kasturirangan

Rajesh Kasturirangan is an accomplished professional in the field of cognitive science with significant leadership experience. As the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Socratus Foundation since July 2019, Rajesh has been instrumental in advancing its mission. Previously, Rajesh served as a Co-Coordinator at Azim Premji University from December 2010 to December 2019, where responsibilities included coordinating the Mind and Society Initiative while contributing as adjunct faculty. Rajesh also Co-Founded ClimateX, a global community aimed at transforming climate knowledge into actionable solutions, serving from September 2015 to July 2018. Prior experience includes an Associate Professor role at the National Institute of Advanced Studies, Bangalore, where Rajesh led the Cognition Programme from May 2006 to May 2013. Rajesh holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Cognitive Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, earned between 1998 and 2004.
