Tommy Ekenberg

Tommy Ekenberg has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tommy began their career as a Consultant at Amendo in 2001 and worked there until 2003. Tommy then joined Stockholm Omsorg AB as a Finance & IT Manager from 2003 to 2005. Following that, Tommy served as the Finance Manager at MTG Radio from 2005 to 2007. Tommy then joined Mannheimer Swartling as a Senior Controller in 2007 and worked there until 2008. Tommy then worked at Deloitte BPS as a Senior Consultant from 2008 to 2010, where they focused on process optimization and financial functions.

In 2010, Tommy joined Region Stockholm and held various roles within the organization. Tommy started as an IT Controller, overseeing cost calculations, pricing, investments, and process improvement. Tommy played a key role in a project that achieved 30% annual cost reduction through infrastructure consolidation. Tommy then transitioned to the position of Business Architect, responsible for combining business strategy, processes, IT, and organizations to facilitate governance and management. From 2018 to 2021, they served as the Head of Architecture & PPM, leading the development of architectural control, portfolio management, and information security management. Currently, Tommy holds the position of Head of Service Integration at Region Stockholm.

Tommy Ekenberg has a diverse education history. Tommy first attended Stockholm University from 1996 to 2001, where they obtained a Master of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance. In 1998, they also studied at the University of Macao, specializing in Corporate Finance and Entrepreneurship.

In 1989 to 1990, Tommy Ekenberg attended Kamiakin High School and earned their High School Diploma. Later, in 2009, they took a course at Informator in Project Management. Tommy further enhanced their skills in 2010 by attending Dataföreningen Kompetens for Agile and Scrum training. Most recently, in 2022, they returned to Informator to study Agilt Ledarskap (Agile Leadership).

Alongside their formal education, Tommy Ekenberg has also pursued additional certifications. In 2016, they obtained a certification in Business Architecture from Cordial AB. Tommy also holds an ITIL Foundation certification from PEOPLECERT, acquired in the same year. In 2013, they received a COBIT 5, foundation certification from ISACA. In 2012, they obtained a certification in Processdriven verksamhetsutvecklare from IRM.
