Carl Smith

Carl Smith is an experienced hospitality professional with a diverse background in training and human resources. Smith began as a Training Officer at Guoman & Thistle hotels from 1998 to 2000 and went on to hold various training and managerial roles, including Training Manager at Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts and Lancaster London. Smith served as Chairman at HR In Hospitality from 2002 to 2014 and held the position of Head of HR for Novotel at Accor from 2008 to 2010, managing a busy HR department for a flagship property. In addition, Smith played a significant role in delivering hospitality services for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Currently, Smith is the Head of Global Premium Services for Sodexo Live!, overseeing services in global airport lounges.
