Chris Button

Chris Button, LEED AP, is an Associate Director for Planning and Construction at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, where they have worked for over 24 years. With extensive experience in planning, design, and construction within higher education, Chris has successfully led numerous major projects, including a $31.5 million performing arts center and campus center expansions. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Chris actively participates in initiatives supporting veterans and champions diversity and inclusion. They hold a Master of Professional Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and Engineering from the State University of New York College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry.
