David Pollack

David Pollack is a culinary professional with extensive experience in the food industry and nonprofit sector. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Cooking Without Kidneys since April 2019, David leads initiatives aimed at supporting individuals on dialysis through food programs, including demonstrations and competitions across the US. Concurrently, David works as a Sous Chef at Sodexo. Previously, David operated an independent business, Chef David's Dinners, from November 2015 to November 2021, after becoming a three-year kidney recipient. Earlier roles include Demonstration Chef at Kitchen Kapers and Featured Chef at on a roll, where David created and served monthly dinners. David's career began in prepared foods at Whole Foods Market from January 2011 to November 2015. Educationally, David holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University, earned between 1995 and 1997.
