Patrick Heaney is an experienced fire safety professional with a strong background in managing fire safety protocols across various sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Fire Safety for Sodexo UK&I since July 2022, Patrick previously held the position of Global Head of Fire Safety at Dyson and Senior Manager roles at Alshaya Group and Burberry, where responsibilities included the development of fire safety standards and compliance policies. Earlier experience includes serving as the Group Fire Safety Manager at J Sainsbury plc, overseeing fire safety for multiple business areas, and providing training for factory compliance in Bangladesh. Patrick began the career as a Fire Safety Officer at Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service and as an Operational Firefighter at Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service. Patrick holds both a Postgraduate Diploma and a BEng(Hons) in Fire Engineering from the University of Central Lancashire, as well as extensive training in fire safety legislation and investigation from the Fire Service College.
