Marcela Gomez Rival

Marcela Gomez Rival is a professional with a degree in social work from Universidad Santo Tomás, Chile. Currently serving as the Encargada de Bienestar y Calidad de Vida at Sodimac since October 2020, Marcela has a strong background in women's empowerment and training from previous experience as a Gestora de Formación y Capacitación at Fundación PRODEMU from April 2014 to July 2018. In this role, Marcela focused on programs aimed at women in the Llanquihue Province, facilitating training through socio-educational strategies with a gender perspective, managing budgets, and coordinating with technical training organizations. Additional responsibilities included supporting the Provincial Director in program planning, execution, and evaluation, as well as organizing provincial and regional fairs.
