Daniel Hoyer is a computational historian and complexity scientist who has been part of Seshat: Global History Databank since 2014 and is the founder and director of SoDy, the historical policy lab. They are an associate faculty member at Complexity Science Hub Vienna (2020–Present) and a scientific researcher at the SocialAI Lab, University of Toronto (2022–Present). They also serve as Senior Research Associate & Managing Director at Seshat: Global History Databank (present). Their education includes studies at New York University.
