Adam Ficke

Adam Ficke has over 13 years of work experience in a variety of roles. Adam began their career in 2008 as a Production Engineer II at Honeywell, where they developed a statistical process control package for 7 production lines and designed and implemented training procedures for trainers and technicians. Adam then moved on to Reliability Engineer, where they analyzed site performance and compared it to industry benchmark standards, and identified and proposed solutions resulting in savings of $8M annually. Lastly, they served as Process/Production Engineer, leading an improvement project to introduce new extrusion technology, saving the company $400,000 the first year and $700,000 the second year.

In 2012, Adam Ficke joined Mystery Brewing Co. as a Business & Production Intern, where they developed analytics for the start-up brewery, including cost and revenue management, demand forecasting, and production scheduling.

Adam Ficke then moved on to GEICO in 2014, where they held various roles, including Product Modeling Manager II, Product Modeling Manager, Product Modeling Lead, Manager, Customer Communications Group, Senior Business Analyst II, and Senior Business Analyst. As Product Modeling Lead, they led a data science research team developing predictive models that drove profitable growth, and led the deployment of Agile product development in a research setting.

Adam Ficke is currently employed at Sofar Ocean as a Technical Product Manager, a role they have held since 2022.

Adam Ficke obtained a Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business between 2011 and 2013, and a degree in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech between 2004 and 2008, with a focus in Chemistry and Biotechnology.
