Alex Eveleth has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. In 2009, they worked as a Website Developer for the WWU Music Department, where they self-directedly updated and maintained the department's website using HTML, CSS and Javascript. In 2010, they worked as a Test Development Engineer - Undergraduate Intern for Intel Corporation. In 2011, they worked as a Test Development Engineer - Graduate Intern for Intel Corporation, where they converted an external C/C++ tool to the company's C# Test Framework for automated Firmware testing and updated and improved test cases. In 2012, they worked as a Math Education Volunteer for the Peace Corps, where they taught Mathematics and Information and Communications Technology to 110 Junior High Students, managed and secured funding for a computer lab renovation project and collaborated with Ghanaian programmers to develop projects. From 2014 to 2022, they worked as a Full Stack Software Engineer for Facebook. As of 2022, they are currently working as a Software Engineer for Sofar Ocean.

Alex Eveleth attended Western Washington University from 2006 to 2011, earning both a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Music.
