Brendan Crowley

Brendan Crowley has a diverse work experience beginning in 2012 when they served as Assistant Sports Editor and Staff Writer for The Georgetown Voice. In 2015, they interned for Heat Seek NYC. In 2016, they were a Venture For America Fellow and Social Media Manager for Rhinegeist Brewery. From 2019 to 2020, they were Communications Director for Five Boroughs Brewing Co., where they authored dozens of public-facing newsletters for an audience of 1,400+, increased blog output by 5x, wrote all copy for website and sales collateral, directed PR strategy and wrote all press releases, managed social media, led brand development, managed external partnerships program and led event planning. From 2020 to 2022, they were a Freelance Journalist and Climate Writer. In 2022, they will become a Content Marketing Manager for Sofar Ocean and a Fellow for Sanergy, where they will assess the domestic and export market opportunity for Black Soldier Fly eggs and conduct in-depth research.

Brendan Crowley began their educational journey at Rye Neck High School, where they graduated with a High School degree in 2012. Brendan then attended Georgetown University, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Economy in 2016. In 2014-2015, they studied Economics and Business at Trinity College Dublin. In 2021, they completed a Fellowship in "Climate Change: Learning for Action" at Terra.do.
