Aissa J. has a diverse range of work experience, spanning various industries and roles. In 2021, they joined SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park as the Director of Artist & Industry Relations. Prior to this, they worked as a Covid Compliance Officer from 2020 to 2021. From 2017 to 2021, Aissa worked as an Event Producer & Artist Relations Director in a freelance capacity, where they planned and executed events, managed budgets, and coordinated with vendors. Aissa also served as the General Manager for the "Stranger Things Drive-Into Experience" at Redrock Entertainment from 2020 to 2021. In 2017, Aissa worked as a Technical Advisor/Consultant at Amazon Studios. Before that, they held various positions at KROQ, including Director of Marketing and Promotions from 1997 to 2017 and Event Promotions Manager from 1998 to 2010. Prior to their time at KROQ, they were the Promotions Director at KZLA-FM. Aissa began their career as a Sales Representative at Radio & Records and later worked as a Promotions Manager at KNAC-FM.

Aissa J. obtained an Associate's degree in Journalism from Long Beach City College from 1988 to 1991.
