Jesse Bridgewater

Jesse Bridgewater, PhD, has an extensive background in data science and leadership roles. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Post Doctoral Research Engineer at UCLA and later joined J.D.Power and Associates as a Scientific Programmer / Modeler. From 2007 to 2010, Jesse led the Search Analysis Team at Yahoo, where they utilized data to improve search functionalities. They then moved to Microsoft as a Social Search Data Wrangler before joining eBay as a Principal Data Scientist / Director, leading a team that focused on machine learning and data mining. In 2015, Jesse became a Data Science Leader at Twitter before transitioning to the role of VP of Data Science at Livongo in 2016. At Livongo, Jesse utilized data analysis and machine learning to improve health outcomes, with a specific focus on managing diabetes. They then joined Brightline (formerly Emilio Health) in 2020 as the VP of Data Science before assuming the position of Data Science Vice President at SoFi in 2023.
