Michael also managed U.S. Payments Risk Management as a Senior Manager from 2014 to 2015 and as a Manager from 2012 to 2014, optimizing card payment hold strategies.

Earlier in their career, Michael worked at Capital One as a Business Strategy Analyst, specializing in payment fraud risk from 2010 to 2012. Michael'sresponsibilities included implementing fraud prevention strategies and authentication strategies. Michael also evaluated and implemented fraud solutions to reduce ACH bustout losses.

Michael began their career as a Summer Analyst in the Investment Banking Division at Citi in 2009, where they conducted post-mortem reviews of IPOs and developed cost of capital analyses for convertible bond offerings. Prior to that, they worked as a Summer Intern in Risk Management Services at Arthur J. Gallagher in 2008.
