Michael Schermann is an accomplished UX Researcher and educator with extensive experience in both academic and industry settings. Currently serving as a UX Researcher and Team Lead at SoFi since October 2022, Schermann previously held roles as a lecturer and Faculty Director at Santa Clara University, where significant contributions included designing the Master of Science in Information Systems curriculum and leading a team of instructors. Various prior positions include user experience researcher roles at Google, Robinhood, and Facebook, where Schermann influenced product design and established a robust community among UX researchers.
