Seda Unal Calargun

Seda Unal Calargun is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in database platforms and software development. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering, Database Platforms at SoFi since February 2024, Seda previously held the same title at Galileo Financial Technologies from September 2023 to February 2024. A significant tenure at Twitter from April 2016 to November 2022 included roles such as Director of Engineering, where leadership of the Compute group enabled scalable workload orchestration, and Senior Engineering Manager overseeing critical teams like Blobstore and Coordination. Prior experience includes positions at Microsoft focusing on Bing Ads and development at MilSOFT Yazılım Teknolojileri A.Ş. and Srdc-Software Research & Development Center.
