Erkki Salminen

Erkki Salminen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Erkki currently serves as the Chief Business Development Officer at Sofia Digital, where they focus on the company's development and business growth through recruitment and personnel development. Erkki emphasizes the importance of trust and employee well-being in achieving exceptional results for both employees and clients.

Prior to joining Sofia Digital, Erkki spent several years at Gofore, where they held various positions. As the Director of Strategic Development, they led two programs aimed at operational excellence, fostering a data-driven and people-centric culture, and enhancing the overall stakeholder experience. Erkki also served as the Director of Culture and Competences, Development Director, Senior Service Architect, Projects Director, and Technical Project Manager during their tenure at Gofore.

Before Gofore, Erkki worked at Solita Oy as a Project Manager and Software Designer. Erkki effectively managed projects and contributed to software design.

Erkki began their career as an IT Consultant at SysOpen, where they provided expertise in the field.

Throughout their career, Erkki has consistently demonstrated a strong focus on building a great workplace, helping customers succeed, and cultivating a thriving organizational culture.

Erkki Salminen completed their Matriculation examination at Tampereen klassillinen lukio from 1991 to 1994. Erkki then pursued higher education at the University of Tampere, where they obtained a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from 1996 to 2001. Additionally, Erkki has obtained several certifications throughout their career, including COBIT 5 Foundation from APMG-International in March 2013, PRINCE2 Foundation from APMG-International in August 2011, TOGAF 9 Foundation from The Open Group in March 2010, and Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in June 2009.
