Mikko Saari

Mikko Saari is the head of business for BT Studio & Operator at Sofigate. Mikko has also worked as a pricing specialist and Master's Thesis worker at Valmet from May 2013 to January 2014. There, they led an international team of pricing specialists and was responsible for the development and implementation of next-generation B2B pricing strategies for 100 000+ products to target markets in a global industrial environment. Before that, they were the co-founder and CEO of Krei Lighting from November 2012 to June 2015, where they were responsible for managing and leading the start-up company, which was a spin-off from Aalto University Product Development project. Mikko was also responsible for the development and implementation of a start-up growth strategy, customer-vendor governance, sales, procurement & supply-chain, product design, manufacturing, and LED-market research. In addition, they managed the creation of a new design LED-luminaire product family for B2B markets. Mikko Saari has also worked as a Project Manager at Aalto University from August 2011 to April 2012 and as a Sales Engineer at Metso Paper from May 2012 to September 2012. Prior to that, they were a Project Coordinator at Metso Paper from May 2011 to August 2011.

Mikko Saari has a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management from Aalto University. Mikko is also a certified ITIL 2011 Foundation and PRINCE2 Foundation Certificate from APMG International. Furthermore, they have a certification from ICT Academy for Management as a Certified ICT Management Professional (CIMP) and as a Certified ICT Standard Professional (CISP).
