Olli Haukkovaara

Olli Haukkovaara has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and positions. Olli started their career in various companies, holding positions in production, product development, training, sales, marketing, and team leading. Olli'snotable roles include serving as the CEO of CAD Team. Additionally, they worked as a Network Administrator at HAMK University of Applied Sciences and the City of Valkeakoski, where they were responsible for maintaining servers, networks, and information security. Olli then joined TeliaSonera, where they worked as an Information Security Manager and R&D Specialist, focusing on security policies, guidelines, and information security projects. After a sabbatical leave, they moved to Nixu Oy, where they served as a Senior Security Consultant and worked on projects related to information security management and auditing. Following this, they worked as an independent consultant, collaborating with various companies on information security projects. Currently, they are employed at Sofigate as the Chief Security Officer and Senior Advisor, overseeing security and privacy projects while also developing new business concepts.

Olli Haukkovaara completed their education at different institutions over the years. In 1979, they attended Valkeakoski Senior High School, where they graduated with a degree in Extended mathematics, English, Swedish, and other subjects in 1982. Later, from 1986 to 1988, Olli pursued their engineering degree in Automation and Information Technology at Häme Polytechnic University of Applied Sciences. In 1993, they briefly studied International Business at the same institution. Additionally, Olli obtained several certifications in the field of Information Security, including the QSA certification from the PCI Security Standards Council in April 2012, the Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) certification from ISACA in June 2010, and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)².
