Priyal Patel

Priyal Patel is currently a volunteer and undergraduate researcher at Johns Hopkins Medicine since January 2022. In addition, Priyal serves as an advising fellow at Matriculate and a tutor at SoFlo SAT Tutoring, both roles held since December 2021 and November 2021, respectively. Priyal also holds leadership positions as the Director of Social Media and Associate Director for The Global Health Leaders Conference at Johns Hopkins University, initiated in September 2021. Previous experience includes shadowing at UT Southwestern Medical Center (June 2020 - January 2022) and engagements with the Intercollegiate Neuroscience Research Journal Club (July 2020 - August 2021) and Lenox Hill Neurosurgery (June 2020 - December 2020), where extensive exposure to the healthcare field was gained through various roles and discussions. Priyal is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience at The Johns Hopkins University, expected to graduate in 2025, and holds a high school diploma in Biotechnology from MOT Charter High School, acquired in 2021.
