Yi-Shirley Xie

Yi-Shirley Xie is an undergraduate student at The Johns Hopkins University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health and Behavioral Biology. Currently serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Behavioral Pharmacology Research Unit, Yi-Shirley focuses on opioid use disorder and potential treatments through clinical trials. Additionally, Yi-Shirley works as a Harm Reduction Specialist at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, providing essential supplies and education to high-risk populations in East Baltimore. Experience includes serving as an Emergency Medical Technician with the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company and tutoring for SoFlo SAT Tutoring. Yi-Shirley's academic background includes a dual enrollment in Linear Algebra at Princeton University and a high school diploma from Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart.
