Jonah McBride

Jonah McBride has over 18 years of work experience in the field of computer vision. Jonah began their career in 2001 as a Research Assistant at Brown University, where they conducted research in computer vision and digital archaeology. In 2002, they joined Charles River Analytics as a Senior Scientist, where they were responsible for system development in the field of computer vision using C++ and MATLAB. Jonah was also the PI and technical lead on various SBIR contracts and responsible for writing proposals to win new contracts. In 2015, they joined Rethink Robotics as a Principal Vision Engineer. Jonah currently works at Soft Robotics Inc. as a Senior Principal Computer Vision Engineer since 2018.

Jonah McBride received a Sc.B. in Electrical Engineering from Brown University between 1997 and 2001. Jonah then returned to Brown University and completed a Sc.M. in Engineering from 2001 to 2003.
