SOFT SYSTEMS STUDIO is a full-service, licensed landscape architecture practice based in NYC. We bring to life well-built, ecologically vibrant environments for people and the planet.

Soft Systems invites a rethinking of our approach to landscape design. Recognizing that humanity faces greater ecological threats than at any other time, we believe that our role as designers is to craft resilient, adaptive environments where ecological systems and human needs coexist seamlessly— offering clients not just beautiful spaces but strategic solutions that drive sustainability, enhance livability, and create lasting economic value.

We work with cities, developers and individuals to bring vibrant ecological systems into the heart of our shared spaces. If you’re looking to weave together a site with smart landscape planning, get in touch by phone or by email for a consultation on your project, no matter how big or how small.
