Kentaro Takasu

Kentaro Takasu is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Managing Director and Head of the Global Planning Group in the CFO Office at SoftBank Group since June 2019. Prior to this role, Takasu was the Lead Investment Manager at CROWD CREDIT, Inc. from July 2018 to May 2019. Previously, Takasu held several significant positions at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation over a decade, including Head of Leveraged Finance in Japan and SVP of M&A and Leveraged Finance. Takasu began a career in the finance industry at Japan Bank for International Cooperation, working in credit risk management and representing the bank in Mexico City, Mexico, and Central America, as well as serving as Country Officer for Brazil and Peru. Academic qualifications include an Executive Leadership Program from IMD in 2017 and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Tokyo, obtained in 2000.
