Dean Gillis is an experienced professional in networking and security, currently serving as the Specialist Manager for the North UK & Ireland regions at Softcat plc since July 2015. With a progressive career at Softcat, Dean has held various roles including Senior Team Leader and Solutions Team Leader, where responsibilities included managing specialist teams focused on Networking & Security, Data Centre & Cloud, and End User Computing & Mobility. Prior experience includes serving as a Reservist and Logistical Support Driver in the British Army, where significant personal development was achieved. Dean holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Leadership and Strategic Management from Coventry University and a BA (Hons) in Sports Business Management from Leeds Beckett University.
