James Kenny

James Kenny is an experienced professional currently serving as Deputy Team Leader and Senior Account Manager at Softcat plc since August 2019. In this role, James manages a team of Account Executives, focusing on their development in the early stages of their careers, while also building strong customer relationships to address IT challenges and enhance organizational productivity through technology. Prior to Softcat, James held various positions, including Critical Analysis Project Student Lead at Sheffield University Management School, where responsibilities included preparing and conducting focus groups, and Sales Associate at SAP, supporting management across numerous industries. Educationally, James holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from The University of Sheffield and was a Brand Ambassador for Virgin Media earlier in the career journey.
