Joel Hoidas is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in workplace AI consulting and corporate communications. Currently serving as Manager of Workplace AI Consulting at Softchoice since June 2013, Joel has held various titles including Portfolio Marketing Manager and Adoption & Change Management Consultant, overseeing corporate communications strategies and leading PR and media relations. Prior to Softchoice, Joel provided brand and communications consulting for organizations such as the Ontario Medical Association and served in strategic communications roles for the Ontario Government, enhancing media engagement and public support initiatives. Joel's early career included positions in journalism, including Senior Reporter at the Toronto Sun and Editor at Fort Erie Times, following the completion of a Journalism diploma with honors from Humber College.
