Alicia P.

Alicia P.'s work experience includes various roles in the field of Agile and Scrum. Alicia currently works as a Scrum Master at Softdocs, where they facilitate scrum activities for two diverse scrum teams and encourages the development of automated deployments with pipelines. Alicia also pioneers SAFe initiatives with the RTE.

Prior to Softdocs, Alicia worked at Transactly as a Scrum Master, where they drove organizational change by transitioning the company to proper Scrum practices within a short period of two months. Alicia significantly improved team collaboration and morale, as acknowledged by the developers in Sprint Retrospectives. Alicia also worked with Product Owners on effective Product Backlog management.

Before Transactly, Alicia held positions at Humana. Alicia worked as a Senior Scrum Master, leading efforts to introduce scrum ceremonies, iterate in two-week sprints, collaborate with business analysts, and drive completion of projects. Alicia successfully delivered 25 projects to production. Previously, they served as a Senior Application Engineer, where they acted as a lead analyst and carried out continuous delivery strategies. Alicia also worked as an Application Engineer, developing internal software and web applications using Agile-Scrum methodology.

Alicia P. completed their education by earning a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering from the same university in 2014. Alicia also studied Asian Studies/Civilization at Kansai Gaidai University in 2013. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from the Scrum Alliance in May 2022.
