Rajendra Pandey

Rajendra Pandey has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Rajendra started their career as a Unix System Administrator at Softenger in 2000, where they worked at various client locations and gained experience in True64 OS, hardware Compaq, application upgrades, and migrations. Rajendra then worked as a Senior Unix Systems Administrator at Softenger (Singapore) Pte Ltd from 2006 to 2008.

In 2008, Rajendra joined UBS as a Senior System Administrator before transitioning to Standard Chartered Bank, where they held multiple roles over the years. Rajendra started as a Senior System Admin and gradually progressed to Senior Manager, Platform Control, Sr Manager Platform (Governance), and Manager Platform Operation. In these roles, they were responsible for audit and risk management, implementing change log review processes, delivering production support, and handling compliance checks and external assessment processes.

In 2019, Rajendra joined Softenger again, this time as the Vice President in Cyber Security & Remote Support. Rajendra'sresponsibilities included managing a team of SOC analysts, providing 24x7 support to clients remotely, and overseeing various aspects of cybersecurity such as VAPT, VA/VM, DLP, and WAF.

Rajendra Pandey earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Maharashtra Institute of Technology during the period of 1989 to 1993. Prior to that, they attended Bangalore Military School from 1981 to 1989, where they studied Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. In addition to their formal education, Rajendra Pandey obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include becoming a Certified CyberArk Trustee from CyberArk in September 2019, a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in September 2019, an ITIL Foundation Level certification from APM Group in June 2009, a Sun Certified System Administrator for the Solaris Operating System certification from Sun Microsystems in August 2005, and both an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate and an AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2019.
