Carlos Barata

Carlos Barata has been with Softinsa, an IBM Group Company, since June 2007, currently serving as the Data Protection Leader and Quality Manager since April 2015. Carlos's role encompasses quality, processes, and security management, and in 2017, Carlos took on additional responsibilities for the company’s compliance with GDPR. Prior to this, Carlos was an SMB Business Manager at Softinsa, where Carlos engaged in the complete sales cycle from customer acquisition to collaboration with technical teams. Carlos has been involved in sales since completing education at IADE Escola Superior de Marketing e Publicidade, where Carlos obtained a degree in Marketing and Advertising. Earlier experience includes roles at IBM and Pedrosa Comércio Internacional, enabling Carlos to accumulate over 8 years of experience in the IT market and strong skills in sales and client relations.
