André Tavares

André Tavares has an extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. André currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Softplan, a leading Saas business ecosystem specializing in simplifying complex processes through software solutions. Prior to that, they were a Board Member at Xian Rio, part of Grupo Bestfork, where they contributed to the growth of the Santa Catarina Restaurante, Entretenimento e Participações S.A. In 2018, they held the position of VP Financeiro (CFO) at Anima Educação, where they led financial planning, budgeting, and investor relations. Before that, they served as the Superintendente Administrativo Financeiro at Grupo Tiradentes and the Diretor Financeiro at Universidade Tiradentes. André also gained experience as the Diretor de Finanças e Desenvolvimento at Banco Do Estado De Sergipe and the Gerente Regional do Programa de Microcrédito at Banco do Nordeste do Brasil S.A.

André Tavares has a diverse education history. André completed their Bachelors's degree in Administration from Universidade Estadual do Ceará in 2000. André then pursued an Executive MBA in Corporate Finance from COPPEAD UFRJ from 2004 to 2005. In 2006, André earned a specialization in Strategy and Finance from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Later, in 2015-2016, they completed an Executive MBA in Business Management from Fundação Dom Cabral. Lastly, in 2019-2020, André obtained a Master's degree in Contemporary Management of Organizations from Fundação Dom Cabral. Additionally, André has certifications such as CPA-20 from ANBIMA and the First Certificate in English from Cambridge University. André also holds a Diploma in Spanish as a Foreign Language from Instituto Cervantes.
