Serhii Marchenko

Serhii Marchenko is an experienced backend developer with over 10 years of expertise in building reliable and scalable web applications. Currently, at SoftServe since 2021, Serhii develops microservices using Spring Boot and implements Kafka for asynchronous data processing while optimizing PostgreSQL queries. Previously, as a freelance developer on Upwork from 2012 to 2016, Serhii developed web applications in Java and PHP and maintained legacy code. Prior to that, at Intellias from 2016 to 2020, Serhii built REST APIs for e-commerce platforms and integrated external payment systems. Serhii earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science specializing in Software for Automated Systems from Lviv Polytechnic National University in 2012.
