Sérgio Almeida

Sérgio Almeida began their work experience in 2011 as a Student Researcher at INESC-ID, where they developed their master's thesis on Geo-replication in Large-Scale Cloud Computing Applications. Sérgio also worked on a European project called "TARGET" that focused on developing a serious game for employee training.

In 2012, Almeida joined Altitude Software as a Junior Backend Software Developer. In this role, they were responsible for developing the Server component of the Altitude uCI 8 software product and was part of the Core team.

Since 2015, Almeida has been employed at Miniclip. Sérgio started as a Frontend Software Developer and later transitioned to the role of Senior Backend Software Developer. Additional details regarding the specific responsibilities and dates of their roles at Miniclip are not provided.

From 2010 to 2012, Sérgio attended Instituto Superior Técnico where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Distributed Systems / Software Engineering.

Before attending university, Sérgio Almeida attended Escola Secundária de Sampaio from 2005 to 2007, where they pursued Science and Technology studies. The degree obtained during this time frame is unknown.
