W. Coy Gauthier has extensive experience in the IT field, with a focus on software development and consulting. W. Coy founded Software Consulting Services, LLC in 2003 and served as the CEO. In this role, they emphasized the importance of carefully evaluating and strategizing IT solutions for clients. Prior to this, they worked at AT&T Wireless as a Consultant, where they tackled challenging projects and contributed to the innovation of the cell phone industry. W. Coy also held the position of Senior Software Engineer at TEKsystems, where they developed innovative software solutions for AT&T Wireless and Echelon Entergy Nuclear South Headquarters. In addition, Gauthier worked as a Consultant at Entergy Nuclear River Bend Power Station, where they played a key role in transitioning and updating software and communication systems to ensure safety and compliance with federal policies. Before that, they worked as a Consultant at Associated Technical Contractors (ATC), performing Independent Verification and Validation audits for technical systems. Their work at ATC also involved projects with the Louisiana Department of Administration. Gauthier began their career as a Computer Programmer at the Louisiana Department of Justice and Exxon Chemical.
W. Coy Gauthier attended Southeastern Louisiana University from 1995 to 1998, but did not graduate or pursue a specific degree or field of study.
