Sean Falconer

Sean Falconer is a seasoned AI entrepreneur and strategist with extensive experience in technology and developer relations. Currently serving as the AI Entrepreneur in Residence at Confluent since November 2024, Falconer also holds multiple leadership roles at Skyflow, including Strategic Advisor and Head of Developer Relations and Product Marketing, where responsibilities include overseeing marketing, growth, and developer relations. Additionally, Falconer is a co-creator and host of Software Huddle and a podcast host for Software Engineering Daily. Previous notable roles include Head of Developer Experience for Google's Business Communications Products and Founder and CTO of Proven, which was acquired by Upward.net. Education includes a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Victoria and a Postdoc in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from Stanford University.
