Benedetta Iavarone has extensive experience in research and academia. In 2017, they interned at the Institute of Computational Linguistics "Antonio Zampolli" - CNR. Benedetta then worked as a Visiting Research Assistant at The University of Sheffield in 2018. Later that year, they began their role as a PhD candidate in Data Science and NLP at Scuola Normale Superiore. Benedetta joined Software Improvement Group (SIG) in 2022, initially as a Junior Researcher and later transitioning to the position of Researcher.

Benedetta Iavarone has a diverse and extensive education history. Benedetta obtained their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Data Science from Scuola Normale Superiore between 2018 and 2022. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Computer Science for Humanities at Università di Pisa from 2015 to 2017. In 2011, Benedetta earned their Bachelor's degree in Languages, literatures, and intercultural communication from Università del Salento.

Additionally, Benedetta holds a Music Diploma in Piano Performance from Conservatorio di Musica "T. Schipa", Lecce, which they achieved between 2004 and 2013.

In terms of additional certifications, Benedetta has completed several courses. Benedetta obtained the SQL Essential Training certification from LinkedIn in August 2021. In February 2021, they completed the "Become a Data Scientist" program also offered by LinkedIn. Lastly, Benedetta acquired the certification for "Learning Linux Command Line" from LinkedIn in December 2020.
