Diego Román Rodríguez

Diego Román Rodríguez has a diverse work experience in the software development field.

Diego is currently working as a Software Engineer at Software Improvement Group (SIG) since November 2021.

Prior to that, from March 2020 to October 2021, they worked at Lunatech Labs as a Full Stack Software Developer. In this role, they participated in the development of REST APIs using SpringBoot and was involved in a project to build a web application for a Power plant using Quarkus Framework.

Before joining Lunatech Labs, Diego worked at CAPITOLE CONSULTING from March 2019 to January 2020 as a Software Developer. During this time, they were responsible for developing web applications and services using Java EE technology, as well as implementing RESTful APIs using RestEasy and JAX-RS.

Diego's early work experience includes their role as a Software Developer at Esblada Medical Solutions from an unspecified date in 2014 to March 2019. In this position, they primarily focused on the analysis and development of WebServices and RESTful APIs using Java and Springboot. Diego also worked on adding new functionalities to web applications using PHP (Laravel Framework), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and UIKit 3.

Diego Román Rodríguez completed their education in computer science at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona from 2014 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Tecnicatura degree in web application development from Educem, where they studied from 2012 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Diego also holds several certifications, including Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) from Scrum.org, GraphQL with Spring Boot from Udemy, B2 First from Cambridge Assessment English, and Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) from CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation).
