Georges Elias

Georges Elias has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Their most recent role was as a Senior Software Consultant at Software Improvement Group (SIG), where they conducted technical interviews, analyzed software systems, and presented findings and recommendations to clients. Prior to that, they worked as a Global Portfolio Manager Motorsports at MYLAPS Sports Timing, where they analyzed, planned, and released new products for motorsport safety and timing. Georges also managed product development and the life cycle of the motorized portfolio across different global regions. Before their role at MYLAPS, they held multiple positions at Software Improvement Group (SIG), including Medior Software Consultant and Model Owner Cloud Readiness, where they helped teams prioritize tasks and acted as a go-to person for cloud migration projects. Georges also worked as a Junior Software Consultant at the same company. Earlier in their career, Georges worked as a Software Developer and Scrum Master at Murex, where they developed high complexity features and guided the team to meet deadlines. Additionally, they volunteered at Beta Dog Shelter, worked as an Intern Junior Technical Consultant at Javista Customer Engagement & Digital Marketing Automation, and interned as a Business Intelligence Consultant at BMB. Georges was also a Microsoft Student Partner and won the Intel Youth Ideation Camp.

Georges Elias completed their education in a sequential manner. From 1997 to 2011, they attended Collège notre dame de Nazareth, where they obtained both Lebanese and French baccalaureates. Following this, they pursued further studies at Saint Joseph University of Beirut from 2012 to 2017, earning a degree in Computer and Communications Engineering. Furthermore, in their additional certifications, they acquired the title of "Quality Software Developer in Maintainability" from PeopleCert in February 2020, and they became a "Certified SAFe® 5 Scrum Master" through Scaled Agile, Inc. in December 2021.
