Jasper Geurts

Jasper Geurts has a diverse range of work experience. Jasper began their career in 2007 by co-founding the company Colorize, where they focused on mobile and web software development. In this role, they were responsible for account and project management, as well as front-end development.

In 2010, Geurts took on the role of Software Developer at Colorize, where they worked on the development of CheckSite, a tool that identifies potential problems and risks in front-end programming and scripting languages. Jasper collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to build this tool, utilizing web standards and best practices for web development.

In 2014, Geurts joined the University of Amsterdam as a Guest Lecturer. During this time, they shared their expertise with students in a limited capacity.

Later that same year, Geurts also started working at Software Improvement Group (SIG). Jasper initially served as a Management Consultant, supporting Senior Consultants and contributing to project deliverables. Jasper then took on the role of Product Owner for Sigrid®, a customer-facing Software Quality Assurance platform. Additionally, they served as a Senior Management and Presales Consultant, leading project teams, providing recommendations to senior clients, and contributing to account planning and business development.

Throughout their career, Geurts has demonstrated a commitment to improving software quality and enabling organizations to trust technology. Jasper has actively contributed to the development of innovative tools and platforms, collaborated with diverse teams, and worked closely with clients to achieve their goals.

Jasper Geurts obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) from 2002 to 2007. Jasper subsequently pursued further education at the University of Amsterdam, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from 2010 to 2012. Following this, they completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree at the University of Amsterdam from 2012 to 2013.
