Koen Hanselman

Koen Hanselman has a diverse work experience starting from their role as a Software Engineer at QNH Consulting in 2012, where they developed software and worked on an abstraction layer architecture design and implementation. Koen also worked as an Intern at QNH Consulting in 2009, where they focused on creating a concept, technical design, and implementation of a social network. Koen then joined Gamma (Intergamma) as a Salesman and customer support employee from 2006 to 2010.

In 2012, they worked as an Intern at NCIM, conducting research on energy-efficient programming on mobile devices. This was followed by their role as a Masterthesis Software engineering at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica, where they conducted research on automatic detection of design patterns in Java code.

In these roles, they performed technical analyses on software systems, translated findings to business risks, led and managed projects, and reported to C-level management. Koen also had additional responsibilities such as being a member of the works council, maintaining and developing the Development Practices Assessment model, and developing the company-wide PowerPoint template.

Most recently, Koen Hanselman has been serving as the Team lead Software Quality & Advisory consultancy at Software Improvement Group (SIG) since January 2023.
