Alfredo Vázquez Leyva

Alfredo Vázquez Leyva has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Alfredo began their career as a Software Developer at Logica de Sistemas, where they worked on implementation projects and software development for Telmex. Alfredo then moved on to SigmaTao Software Factory, where they served as a Project Leader for clients such as Telmex, Telcel, and Banco Santander. Here, they gained expertise in estimating project budgets, project management, team management, and both back-end and front-end software development.

Alfredo also worked as a Solutions Architect at Clickability, contributing to the implementation and architecture of web solutions. Alfredo then transitioned to a role as a Software Engineer at M.M.LaFleur, where they focused on software development.

Alfredo also has experience as a Freelance Web Developer, working with various clients on projects such as financial tools and web development using technologies like Node.js.

In 2010, they joined Software Next Door, where they held the position of Web Systems Engineer and worked on consulting, pre-sales support, project planning, and web development for various clients in the US, Latin America, and Mexico.

In 2015, Alfredo became a Co-Founder of GalenoBook, a cloud-based application aiming to revolutionize the medical profession by allowing doctors to practice remotely and collaborate with assistants/secretaries.

Their most recent position is as the Head of Engineering at Lernit, where they have worked since 2020. Prior to this, they held the role of Lead Developer, contributing to the improvement and feature development of the Lernit Platform using JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, Firebase, Hasura, PostgreSQL, and GraphQL.

Throughout their career, Alfredo has worked with various programming languages such as C/C++, Java, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Visual Basic, and is familiar with operating systems like Windows, Unix, and Linux.
