Jace Johnson

Board Member at Software.org

Jace Johnson is currently a board member at Software.org, and previously worked at Adobe. Prior to working at Adobe, Jace worked in the United States Senate for eight years, where they served as the Senator Orrin Hatch's Chief of Staff and Legislative Director. During their time in the Senate, Jace worked on a variety of projects, including reshaping the federal judiciary, improving the Patent and Trademark Office, rewriting tax laws, changing US immigration policy, incentivizing corporate responsibility, retraining the US workforce, building stronger international trade ties with foreign countries, improving the WTO, strengthening the US military, intelligence, and NASA.

Jace is passionate about public service and believes that it is a real privilege. Jace is proud of the work they accomplished during their time in the Senate and feels that it was an honor to serve their country in that capacity. When they left government service, Jace felt a sense of accomplishment that only public service can provide.

Jace Johnson has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Brigham Young University in the field of finance. Jace also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The George Washington University in the field of business administration, management and operations.
