Paul Sutton

Paul Sutton is the Founder and CEO of Software Radio Systems Ltd, a company specializing in high-performance software for mobile wireless networks, including 4G and 5G solutions, since December 2012. Previously, Paul served as a Research Fellow at CTVR - The Telecommunications Research Centre from March 2008 to September 2017, focusing on emerging wireless technologies such as cognitive radio systems and dynamic spectrum access networks. Paul also held the position of Senior Solution Architect and Consultant at Xcelerit from January 2012 to July 2015, where design and implementation of the core SDK were key responsibilities. Additionally, Paul acted as Director at the Wireless Innovation Forum between November 2009 and January 2013, overseeing corporate affairs and technical programs. Earlier experience includes an internship as a Software Developer at EMC in June 2000. Paul holds a PhD in Dynamic Spectrum Access Networks and Software Radio and a B.A.I. in Computer and Electronic Engineering, both from Trinity College Dublin.
